What really happened at the end? I got the impression that Mr.

Kafka could think of no conclusion and just ended the story. Like maybe he was intending a sequel? Therefore, it is believed that the last chapter is closely tied to the first, and that it is even an effect of it. The copy that I read the Mike Mitchell translation included explanatory notes as well as an introduction that broke down the plot and the devices Kafka used, which was very helpful. I would recommend it it explains everything a lot better than I can if you are still interested and looking for an answer.

Vdekja e kote e fermerit simbolizon kulmin e qyqarllekut. Later, Kafka acquired some knowledge of the French language and culture; one of his favorite authors was Flaubert. Kafka first studied chemistry at the Charles-Ferdinand University of Prague, but switched after two weeks to law.

This offered a range of career possibilities, which pleased his father, and required a longer course of study that gave Kafka time to take classes in German studies and art history. At the university, he joined a student club, named Lese- und Redehalle der Deutschen Studenten, which organized literary events, readings and other activities. In the end of his first year of studies, he met Max Brod , who would become a close friend of his throughout his life, together with the journalist Felix Weltsch , who also studied law.

Kafka obtained the degree of Doctor of Law on 18 June and performed an obligatory year of unpaid service as law clerk for the civil and criminal courts.

Kafka's writing attracted little attention until after his death. During his lifetime, he published only a few short stories and never finished any of his novels, unless "The Metamorphosis" is considered a short novel. Prior to his death, Kafka wrote to his friend and literary executor Max Brod: "Dearest Max, my last request: Everything I leave behind me Brod, in fact, would oversee the publication of most of Kafka's work in his possession, which soon began to attract attention and high critical regard.

class="">The Trial after Franz Kafka

Despite the sombre image we tend to associate to him, Kafta was a dreamer, and his works carry that dream substance in them, from their structure to the strangeness of the images, sounds, ideas and emotions that they convey. The existential topic proposed by the author is that of the Being who lost his self due to endless pride, undermined by the hang-up of his own superiority, victim of an identity and spiritual crisis. Nowadays, Man lost conscience of his bond to the Universe, hypnotized by his own self. A self which, under the burden of his inflamed ego, is eventually turned into mere remains of a false identity, founded on illusion. The forefront of the existential theme illustrates, in Josef K. The absurd, nightmarish system of Justice amplifies those paradoxical desires, offering a fertile and generous environment for experiencing them intensely. But at the same time, the very same system is a machine which stimulates his pride.
